I don't know why, but girlfriend decided to wake up at 5:00 a.m. this morning . . .ahh! She's been sleeping until 7:30 or 8:00 for months and then starting last week she started waking up at 6:00 or 6:30 . . . and then today she woke up at 5:00 . . . whew . . . anyway, I went ahead and fed her and she went back to sleep. I sure do hope she sleeps longer in the morning.The last two Mondays I've been taking a smocking class. Last Monday we practiced and then tonight we started on a dress. I've tried sewing before and just don't enjoy it . . . but I've really liked smocking so far. The lady that taught the class will put the dresses together for me and I can smock them . . . yea! I'm looking forward to making some dresses for Emily. Here is what I worked on tonight. Hopefully I can post a picture of Emily wearing this dress really soon:
