Trick or Treat

Last night we went "party hopping" to two different churches near our house for Trunk or Treat. Emily loved her lady bug outfit and enjoyed seeing all the festivities. She even got on an inflatable slide and played a bean bag toss game. The first time someone tried to give her some candy to put in her pumpkin bowl, she didn't quite know what to do with it. After that initial attempt, each time someone would ask her if she wanted some candy she would dig around in her bucket and try to hand them some of her candy! Sweet girl. Finally by the end she learned to say "Trick E Treat" (for Trick or Treat) and would select some candy from their bowl. When we got home she enjoyed going thru her bucket to see all of her treasures. Fortunately she doesn't know what candy is yet so she just liked playing with all of the packages. There was one bag of pretzels (smart idea!) and she ate that before bed.
