Emily discovered scissors at her friend Julia's house last week so of course we had to get a pair for the house. She has enjoyed making valentine's for everyone lately by cutting up little pieces of paper and putting stickers on top of them:

This past Saturday we got a babysitter and had lunch with our friends Jason and April. Jason wanted to try sushi and we all know Joe was excited to have an excuse to eat sushi. So their daughter Riley stayed with Emily and Abigail at our house with the sitter and we enjoyed a relaxing lunch! Abigail did fine, so this Sunday I even left her in the nursery for the first time . . . yea! It was the first Sunday in 4 1/2 months that I got to sit thru a worship service : )

Love the pictures especially the last one. She is doing a very good job with the scissors. Just wait until she decides that she needs to cut her hair!
Love the pics! I was thinking along the lines of your mom, only I thought she might like to cut her sister's hair. Thank goodness for safety scissors!
When I saw your title I thought for sure "someone" gave themselves a haircut!!! I am so glad so far it is just paper!!!
I just realized Emily takes pictures just like her Dee Dee takes pictures.
