Day 5: Children's Museum

On Day 5 of our vacation we visited the Children's Museum in Chattanooga.  I was surprised at how much they have here.  There were lots of different areas for the kids to play in.  They let us leave for lunch and come back for the afternoon which was nice.

   

 

They had a play area on the roof so we went there first before it got too hot:

  

Inside the top floor they had a Bob the Builder special exhibit:

 

 

 On the first floor they have a water area that both girls enjoyed:

 After lunch we came back to the first floor area to see the rest of the exhibits:

 They had a craft area that we stayed in for a while.  They enjoyed playing with the clay:

 And of course we had to visit the gift shop where Joe found some groovy glasses:

We headed home after that where the girls got a great nap on the way home and I finished reading book 5 of the H@rry P0tter book  . . . I'm trying to get thru at least book 6 so we can go see the movie together next weekend!

We had a GREAT week together as a family!!!  It will be hard to get back into the swing of things on Monday.
